Ryan Seacrest is an ass

Tonight, we watched the latest results on American Idol. For once, I thought that the two contestants who received the lowest number of votes were the right ones, based on the performances. I was glad to see arrogant pinhead Scott Savol voted off, but he's not the person who really irritates me.

The person I really can't stand is vapid, vacuous Ryan Seacrest. It's a rare show when I don't want to throttle him. Tonight--and on other occasions this season--I heard him refer to Scott Savol as "Scotty the Body". So that's supposed to be cute or funny? Fat jokes? Obviously, Scott Savol is obese, and the message the moronic Mr. Seacrest is giving to all of the teenagers who really drive this show is that making fun of people based upon their appearance is a good thing to do. Time was, I was thin, but I didn't make fat jokes. I never stooped to such a level, and someone on national TV should be above that. Of course, I would hope someone on national TV also would have more talent than Seacrest.

If Mr. Seacrest were to get his balls torn off in a freak accident, I don't think I would feel bad. Rather, I could then make fun of him for having been emasculated, because this moronic closet queen has showed me that that's the right thing to do to someone who is different from what I'm used to or would prefer to see.

I thought that "Scotty the Body" was a little juvenile. Why make fun of Scott's weight when there are so many other targets? He sings like he's in a second-rate high school talent show and his personality is as likable as a case of genital warts.

If you want to see Ryan Seacrest in pain (and who doesn't) check out this link, which is a video of Ultimate Fighter Tito Ortiz kicking Ryan's ass.

I think last night was the first time I have ever seen "American Idol" all the way through. I thought Ryan Seacrest was great when he asked Simon if he had been awake during the show. I've never heard Ryan say "Scotty the Body." I would have assumed he just likes the rhyme, because Ryan strikes me as being one of those, "nice home, but nobody's at home" kind of people. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, as it were....

Some are given wit, some are given a sense of humour, some are given good looks. Ryan was given Nothing!

I still can't believe they gave that guy his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There must have been some more deserving celebs out there.
