A couple of photos

I'm not sure if I ever shared this photo before. I hope not. Anyhow, what does it say when you go to take a photo of one of your dogs and she sticks her tongue out at you?

On another note, we were on Randall's Island yesterday for a rugby intramural (and yes, there are photos--we'll get to those soon enough!). Randall's Island lies between a few boroughs of New York City, and we had a good view across the water to part of the Bronx. Looking that way, I noticed that the city apparently has given up and is putting that particular borough up for bid.

Any takers? Just call the number! ;)

Awwwww...what a sweet face! Hard to resist. I don't think that tongue is really for you so much as for the camera. After all, how many pictures have you had taken where you stick your tongue out? I got tons!

This is unrelated to your latest blog entry, but I'm curious to know the meaning behind the name of your blog, "Splenda in the grass?"

Pua: True. :)

Woots: Hard to remember now! That was almost 5 years ago. It's a play on words, of course, taking off of the movie. What silliness brought us to the name... I'm just not sure now. (But we do use a lot of Splenda!) :)

Splenda In the Grass? I just figured you were from Boston originally.

Joey: Nope, not from Boston. And I think we were in Montana when we decided on the name! Perhaps it was floating around before that, since I'd been getting pushed to start a blog, but we were on a trip in that area when the blog was launched. When I actually posted the first entry, I think we were in Spokane, Washington. If I had a few more minutes, I'd look, but I have to get to work! :)

They're blowing kisses at you. But you knew that.
