I've read that the Duomo's capacity is estimated at 40,000. I guess they'd need extra chairs and such, but it definitely is BIG. Here's a look...

So beautiful, and so impressive especially when you consider the time it was built.
Damn it!!!! I should have taken the flight. I would have seen these pics first hand. But biz comes first. I will see you guys I'm sure this year.
