In our travels with Pua and her daughters, Averie and Caris, we stopped at Pindar Vineyards. Next to the parking lot was a field of sunflowers (interestingly, the Pindar website says they're having a sunflower photo contest).
Averie and Caris loved the sunflowers and decided they needed photos among the flowers. Since the girls are so pretty, I just have to share a few of the shots.
Averie among the flowers
I'm not sure what this one was about, but the girls wanted it. I'm sure I'm missing some reference.
Aren't they beautiful? Too bad I like boys. ;)
It was a fun day to cap off a fun visit. I hope they come back soon!

Great Sunflower pics Jess. How cool... the Kansas state flower all the way from NY. :)
You really should do more posts...
I just swam on & I enjoyed the visit. Great photography!
Awww Jess...I've been SO crazy busy with Tiki Oasis since I got back, that I didn't get a chance to see these until just now. How gorgeous this pictures are. Well, okay, maybe I'm a teensy bit partial, but that's beside the point. Not only are these pictures lovely, but they remind me of a truly spectacular day. I will never forget how we laughed as we watched the girls "frolick" in the flowers and just have fun being silly. Wonderful.
Okay. This is how tired I am;
"How gorgeous THIS pictures are."
Nice Pua.
ATG: Thanks!
zach: Nice to see you on here finally! And yes, it must have been your influence!
Stephen: Thanks, I'll try! And welcome!
Pua: I think the subjects in the photos are the gorgeous ones, not the photos themselves! And not to worry, I knew what you meant! :)
These are great! I know what you mean, Jess, it's hard to wrong with such gorgous subjects, but I still think you deserve credit for them. And Pua, I would have thought they were gorgeous even if I hadn't met them, but knowing what lovely people they are just made these images that much more appealing.
