Château de Cheverny

Sorry for the delay in posting. We've been busy, including a lovely week we just spent in Provincetown. But now, let's continue with some photos from France. Next up, Cheverny.

Château de Cheverny, another understated little house

Let's step inside, shall we?

Who said those people could get into my shot? The nerve! ;)

Love the ceiling

And back outside, where we'll head in the direction of L'Orangerie...

More to come!

Jess : I was going to wish you a great time in France, but now I'm distracted and ticked off at your Mehlman comments on Towleroad. Not so much because you criticize Mehlman (and not the far more evil members of the "gay community" like some of the ones who post here) but because you'd even waste your time (while in wondrous France!) on such an anti-Semitic, anti-Irish, animal-abuse promoting, lying manhattany tabloid piece of crap site like Towleroad. You always seemed like a good guy, so this is disappointing. (But...that's just my opinion only).

And of course you won't approve that so email me someday if you ever want verification. Especially about that scuzzy toddHellsKitchen and that SouthernBoyinYankee ultra-scuz. -Joe jtlooking@aol.com

Joey: I'm not censoring comments, so I'll publish what you want to say. I only put the moderation in place, because I've been getting comments that are pure spam.

Anyhow, I'm sorry you feel this way. I can't say I have any reason to share your feelings on Towleroad or the folks you mention. (BTW, these posts are from our trip earlier this year--I'm not sitting in France reading blogs!) I'm surprised by what you say, but feel free to e-mail me, if you like. Up to you.

Jess: Every day that goes by that I know you, I admire you so much more than the day previous. You are such an amazing, courageous, and good person. I don't think I need to say much more than that. That's my opinion.

Also, we had tea at the Orangerie. But that one was in London. :)

Pua: You're making me blush, but I hope you know the admiration and respect are mutual. My life is much richer for having someone as special as you in it!
