This is bizarre
A whole mess of my bookmarks in Firefox just disappeared. What's up with that?
Norton Antivirus says everything's fine. I'm running Spybot S&D to be safe, but I just ran it last night.
Grmpph. The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Although in my case it was the result of a power failure. The instructions on the website for restoring from backups didn't work either. From now on I'm using a web-based bookmarking service (without naming any names).
have you tried using 'foxmarks'? check it out. with it, those like myself with a computer at work and one at home can have their bookmarks 'saved' off your computer and accessible to both computers. does that make sense?
Wait, can you even run Norton on XP???
ReplyDeletei would die if mine were eaten...i have some really good stuff in that list...thusly, the reason they are there....
ReplyDeletegood luck!
