Hot boys

Some hot boys to share with all of you...

Marc being introduced at last night's event

Marc in a less formal setting

Alex Dimitriades, actor in a movie we were watching tonight. Alex, if the acting thing doesn't work out, we can find things for you to do! ;)

NFL QB David Carr. 6'3", 220 pounds of muscle, and you can see how handsome he is!

Ooh, David, I can smell the testosterone coming right out of the computer screen!

Not to worry. I'm not turning this into one of those blogs that gets lots of hits by posting one hottie after another. Or maybe you'd prefer that? :) Well, whatever the feelings on that subject, my intent is otherwise. I just felt like doing a little sharing of hot boys today.

Saturday flower shots

Marc did some planting today, so that inspired me to take some flower photos. Actually, only one of these is from today's plantings, but they all were taken today. Click on each photo for a better view.

In other news, last night we went to Bay Shore to judge a round of the LIGALY Idol competition. I have to admit that I went because I believe in LIGALY's mission to support GLBT youth, but I didn't expect to hear much good singing. Surprisingly, while there were a couple of bad singers, there were several who were quite good. Maybe not future superstars, but some of these kids really could sing.

We're judging two more rounds in the next couple of months. We'll see how that goes!

Now, I'm off to the soaking tub for some relaxation (or whatever) with Marc!

Yoga

There's a long version of this story, but I just don't have the time or energy now. Sorry, kids!

The short version: a number of us senior management types at the hospital have started doing yoga together. It's just an occasional thing (every two weeks), as of now.

I had no idea yoga was so hard!

I should have known. If nothing else, I knew that this cutie has done a lot of yoga, apparently finds it quite fulfilling and has used it to tone up. If he uses it to tone up, it has to be more than stretching!

Well, I can use the exercise. Actually, at this point, I feel pretty good, although I'll admit to a few moments during the session when I wondered what I'd gotten myself into!

Blog? What blog?

Yeah, okay, I have a blog, and I've been a bad, neglectful blogger. Sorry. Sometimes life is busy, and I'm just not up for blogging by the time I get home.

Fortunately, I have something nice to share. As my millions of fans (okay, so there are three of you, and you barely tolerate me--allow me my fantasy!) know, I do photography for the Gotham Knights, the NYC-based gay rugby team. (I should note: I have reason to believe that one of the boys whose photo I'll post below isn't gay. As sad as that is, he has a right to his strange, girl-loving practices. ;) I just thought I should mention that, lest I misrepresent a young man's sexuality. Unlike many straight sports teams' view of gays, the gay guys on this team welcome everyone.)

The actual season isn't until later in the year, but there are events and matches at this time of year, too. The first of them was this weekend. Saturday, when I should have been at home trying to recover from a cold, I was instead out in the frigid weather, taking pictures. In the end, I'm none of the worse for wear, so I guess it was okay.

If you'd like to see the full set of photos, they're here.

From that set, here are a few shots (as always, click on each one to see a larger version):

Okay, if you want to see the rest of them, I'll let you follow the link I put near the top. I hope you like them!

Well, yeah, but who's asking?

I just took a look at the stats for this blog and checked the keyword search activity. In doing so, I found that someone found my blog by going to MSN's search engine and entering "DOES ASS SEX FEEL GOOD?" Yes, even in all caps.

Well, yes, at least if you do it right, it sure does. Now who wants to know?

Miss Deaf Texas struck by train, killed

I have a few London photos left to post, but I thought I'd take a moment to share news of this tragedy. The best line in the article: "A witness told Austin television station KTBC the train sounded its horn right up until the accident occurred." Gee, think there's a reason why that didn't do any good?

The real question is what Miss Deaf Texas was doing walking on railroad tracks!!! Not a safe idea for anyone, but for a deaf person, it's tantamount to suicide. Unless that's what it really was--and, to be clear, I've read nothing suggesting that--then WHAT WAS SHE DOING THERE?!?!?!?!

Yeah, there are more London photos (are you bored yet?)

Apparently, they really like this guy Prince Albert. I understand that his wife was pretty successful, too.

Royal Albert Hall

The Albert Memorial (not quite understated, is it?)

And, having nothing to do with Albert, I'll throw in an Underground shot. This is the Notting Hill Gate station. I wish the NYC subway stations looked more like this. Not that the London stations are spotless or modern, but this just has more class than any of ours...

Some big clock tower in London

Not sure what they call this thing, but it's really big...

...although I did hear that the bell at the top of it is called Big Ben. (No, really. "Big Ben" is the name of the bell, not the whole structure.)

I took the shot from this point, along the Embankment, for a different perspective from the ones that seem to dominate all other shots of this famous structure. Personally, I like this view, with the busy street and the tower high above it.

Tower Bridge

Mistaken by some for London Bridge, the famous bridge in this photo is the Tower Bridge. On the right side of the photo, you can see part of the Tower of London. Hence the name of the bridge right next to it.
