Still life

Rugby photos are in the works. In the meantime, I thought you might like to see a photo I did for Marc's current (soon to be former) job. They need to make a holiday poster, and Marc knew what he had in mind. He just needed someone to create the photo.

So he brought home the elements he wanted in the photo, and I got out my equipment and went to work. As I said, the original will be used in poster size, but I thought you might like to see a smaller version here...

BTW, PatCHy, since we recently talked about the multiple remote flash units, yes, in case you're wondering, I did make use of them for this shot. Remember, lessons are available for a fee (and I don't mean cash). ;)

Thanks, HK! :)

Marvelous! I particularly like the delicacy of the semi-transparent holly leaves. But, really, the entire thing is exceptional.

I just placed a copy of this photo in a file I keep for my own enjoyment that I call "Striking Pictures." I wondered what to call it and finally decided the only possible title was "Blue Balls." :-)

Will: That's funny! I read it to Marc, and he burst out laughing!

Thanks, Knotty & Andy.

Knotty: You weren't supposed to notice the reflections! The final version for the poster will have those airbrushed out. :) So you're saying you want the version with the reflections?
